Track comparison

After a long long break from mixing, I've finally started getting back into it. Here's a snippet of a track. The first part is the bands original mix. The second part is a re-mix that I did. Everything was done within scope.

Here's abit more detail on what was used.
There were about 36 tracks all up. An SPL Transient designer was used on Kick and Snare to tame spill. Some editing of the kick, snare and tom tracks was done to even out the hits. Some of the tracks unfortunately had reverb effect recorded to tape so I couldn't do much with them. I used a Sonic Timeworks Vintage EQ on the snare. Used Vinco compressor on overall drum mix and bass. The rest was stock eq/fx and mixed in stm4896.
