Rythmic Atmos anyone?

Im just curious on what tips u guys could give me on creating rythmic atmos (preferable atonal). What tricks do u have up yer sleeve?

I know its pretty easy importating a sample of any kind into Absynth, and then using the envelopes to travel between transients of that sample to create interesting stuff.
I could also use various mashup fx on a wav inside my Host to mash it up, and then combining several different sources like this into a moving and hopefully rythmic atmo.

Your turn. :)

SIR convolution reverb with random samples from your hard drive as impulse-responses and no dry signal.

Messing with freq divider in any of the modular synths that have a pitch sequencer in them is always fun.

Extreme settings are best - assigning to a hardware controller - mod wheel or any knob you can get great effects

Got a nice thunderstorm goin on with this setup here.
Modulating white noise, but are gonna try with various osc etc as well. Pretty nice stuff.

I dont suppose any of you guys would post your modular conception, would you? I had a nice freq. divider patch I created just for that, and I lost it when I was hot swapping spares once. I since have remembered to make copies and save when working.

Thanks In Advance,
