Expect some downtime, soon (probably today).

I'll be migrating all our current data into the new phpBB2 forum, converting all existing files and tags into text, etc.

Wish me smooth sailing

Cheers,
-John

Tada!! :)
Here we are... sorry, that took longer than expected.

there's a bunch of problems I know about (like sticky posts aren't sticky anymore, etc).

also, I lost my big tag/file conversion during a failed first attempt, so I'll have to do that again.
Until then, you won't see any of the existing file downloads. Sorry bout that! I'll get it fixed up tomorrow.

and there's undoubtedly some problems I'm unaware of, so please let me know (here) if you see any issues.

cheers,
-john

Also, not all the new features (like avatars, etc) are enabled yet. Easing into it.
Attachments are supported but I haven't tested them much yet

Cheers,
-John

cool !

There's just one thing I miss from the previous version: The links (to the separate threads, etc.) changed their colours, after having clicked them. Would be cool to have that back.

Other than that, great work ! I have the feeling it is also a bit faster now.

Edit: ups, it is only the links to the subforums, which don't change their colour.

I miss that too (subf.links). Anyway very nice! :)

It reminds me the same feel I got when we changed from Pulsar software to SFP.

Nice to have a refresh but did everything get tinier, my eyes are straining and yes i am wearing my glasses.

Also is it possible to reorder the forums? It seems odd that General (the most used along with announcements) is way down, yet SCOPE XTC and Noah get 'higher billing'.

wow John,
very well done.....

the design seems a perfect mix of new design and the old one....

I mean it looks def. like the old planetz but much better.....

Thats what I thought when I first visited planetz today.
:o

BTW: The search function is as fast as hell now.... thats a nice addition... I always hated the old search, which sometimes needs 1 min of time.

GREAT WORK !
