Hi.

Can someone here tellme what is :-
Multi Segment EG3.dsp

Where can I get one, and why dont I already have one.

Whenever I load up MC Cyrano's dynamyth, it asks for this file.

Thing is Im sure it used to work, on my other system. Have I missed a file during the installaton or summat

Thanks

Hi, AFAIK Dynamyth doesn't use that DSP file. Where in your Scope directory did you put Dynamyth?

I got the synth'n'sampler bundle....
I really need to get the MnM. Damn I want the Optimaster

I put dynamyth in the folder along with all my other dynamic effects, with compressors and limiters.

It truly is wierd. It worked perfectly on my old system, but since Ive got my new one ive had a few problems. Mostly sorted now tho, cept for this

...And I thought an intel chipset would be so much smoother than the old VIA I was using..

Is that the latest version of Dynamyth, because I'm pretty sure it doesn't need that dsp file. We've got a folder in C/Scope/Devices called 'knott'. I just dropped Martin's whole 'Dynamics&Drive' folder (the latest version) in there, rebooted SFP & it works fine without that dsp file being on that system (anywhere). I still need to copy them into various folders in effects directories, but that shouldn't make a difference I wouldn't have thought.

Btw, when you get Dynamyth working you need to check out Martin's bpm syncable LFO module jacked into the sidechain (SC) input. It's very cool indeed !

I have just downloaded the MC Cyrano pack.
with all the latest versions of everything on.
I'll give it a try and see, maybe the Dynamyth I have on my system is an older one, Im not sure..so many Cyrano devices
Tho If you say it doesnt need this DSP, I believe it. Your expertise on things of this nature is most respected round these parts.
Im sure its just the teething problems of my new comp, I remember it took me ages to get my other one running flawlessly, and I guess this one is no different. But Im closer everyday.

Ill report back later, when Ive had a chance to transfer the Cyrano pack on to my DAW

Thanks for the interest and help.

As always the Z comes through. Damn Ilove this place

Hey, no expert, just a fiddler

For the sake of making sure, I just copied Dynamyth from the latest pack into C/Scope/Devices/Effects/Mono/Dynamics & loaded it from there both standalone & as a mono insert... No problems, so it should work!

It can be put in both your mono & stereo Dynamics folders btw, so you can load it as a mono or stereo insert!

OK.

so I put in the newest version of Dynamyth.
Started Scope. called up the dynamyth........
.... and damn, it asks me for this damn file again.

so I pull out my 'scope 4.5' cd and look through the dsp files to find the one I want.
I cant find it, tho I do find some with similar names. I copy these across to the folder in scope (replacing the ones already there, restart the software, load dynamyth.....
......
...... and YAY it works. So i guess when I installed the software some of the DSP files didt copy properly.

I have no idea why, but it doesnt matter, cos now it works, like a charm.
Just as its supposed to.

Give it a week and if it remains stable Im gonna add my name to list of no problem scope users. Hehehehe
