Just to share some frustration and perhaps sollicit some Samaritan help.
As of yesterday I have two Scope cards but no STDM cable to connect. According to the manual either Creamware or the dealer should supply them for free. Creamware just informed me that they stopped long ago, a dealer survey on the net shows that these guys are selling the cable for ridiculous prices (from 10 USD/8 EURO ex postage to 22 EURO). Having just paid a small fortune for a card, I really have serious problems with this lack of service. Any comments from the community?

try to find the connectors in a regular electronica shop, or order them.
I did this a few months ago.
Cable is easy to build by yourself

Same problem here... do you know wich is the correct name of these connectors?
With the right model name we can try to find it with google.
The flat cable is simply to find, but the connectors are a bit "obsolete" (I've found something similar in one very-very old PC (maybe middle-end of '80), but they are too long. If I'm not in mistake the old 5 1/2 floppy disk reader was connected with something similar to IDE (?) controller.
In the electronics part shops must exist the right size... sadly not in my small town!
Any suggestion?
IMO pay 20 or more dollars/euros for a little stupid connector with 0,5$ real value is a shame!!!

Hey, thanks a alot!!! In 2001 I was Scope less... so not PlanetZ reading

Anyone know if a Pulsar + 2xPulsar2 (tot 16 DSP) needs absolutely 2 STM cable or they works also with only one???

Yes, Pulsar1 uses only one connector, but the two Pulsar 2 have two... one connector for all 3 cards is enough or must be a pair?

Must be in this way:
P2---P2---P1
P2---P2

Or this one is enough?
P1---P2---P1
P2(not connected)P2

Thanks in advance.

Ok, thanks, so I really don't need any additional STDM!
Very strange, in the manual they says that the second cable is required... why if it works already with one?
Maybe at high DSP band usage the system with only one STDM could be overload?
I will experiment.
Cheers

Thanks for the excellent tips. I bought the stuff (goldplated ones are pricy) and it took me 5 min to make the cable. Both cards are up and running. The costs: 14 Euro, indeed a rip off at the electronics store. So, the initial arguments holds: CW should put these things in any 6+DSP card pack, standard.

I always believed you should use only the amount of cables that the card with the smallest amount of connectors can take. i.e. if connecting a P1+P2+P2 use only 1 cable. Right now I can't even remember if I have 1 or 2 cables between the 2 P2's in my box. I've certainly run it with 1 cable before and it worked fine.
