I use 2 19" LCD's which are rackmounted in SKB's for one of my stage rigs. They always shut off while playing to conserve power I suppose. Since the routing window is not exciting to look at, and Gigastudios mixer is just fucking ugly, it wasn't a big deal until I started thinking about how neat my rig looks when it is lit up. This, and the quality of the synths coming off the stage is an important combination though, as I get compliments on both from the audience.
Anyone seen the new devices in the announcements thread? These are to die for as they are quality FX w/ awesome looking GUI's. From where the audience stands it looks like a rack of bitchin' gear all lit up! So now I want my LCD's to stay on. Much more attractive than a miniature picture of a Minimoogs panel I think.
So that's my problem, and I'm sticking to it.

Right-click the desktop-> properties.

You'll see a screensaver tab. Go there and make sure you have no screensaver, then click the power button, make sure it reads "Always On", and "never" for the next three.

...or to get to the same place to do the same thing...

start/settings/control panel/power options-choose "never" for "turn off monitor" setting.

Ah Yes,
I embarassed my girl with a semi naked picture of her as a test, works great.
I told her I left it on when I took a break at the gig, and came back to a stage full of feverish guys jerking off. She failed to find my humor. I was only kidding.
I am going to beg Shroomz, or Sharc to make me an awesome looking set of killer knobs and such to use as a look only. All black like a rack, with multiple LED's and such. SFP does Hollywood type of thing. This I will send a picture of when it happens. My lower rack is an 8U w/ a 24 channel Samson PL mixer ( 4U ), 1 x Studio Electronics SE-1x ( 3U )and a 1U SurgeX Voltage Regulator. Then the 2 x 4U SFP DAW's, then 2 x 8U 19" LCD's, with the Motion Sound Pro3t on top.
Thanks 4 the tips guys, as my rack will soon be customised to look like a killer rack of gear as opposed to a dark black rack with a rotary horn on top.

The Best Regards,

Brotha' Man Stardust,
You seem to be into the graphics thing 'eh? Is there a way 4 me to design a screensaver I could display on 1 of my LCD's, so my LCD would look like a killer rack of extra gear? I am learning that looks around the strip in LV are as important as throbbing SPL's, and FAT BASTARDS.

I Seek Opinions From GUI Gods,

You'll have to take some pictures and share with us!
I'd love to see some extreme SFP in action on stage.

...ah, I miss the burning flames of 'Inferno...'
