Well, the title speaks for itself ... it was a great break !
Seems like I didn't miss too much :wink:

For several reasons, I thought to defer the release of new devices and to serve existing customers first. This decision will incarnate in some (free!) updates for spEQtrum, MidiToolBox and perhaps MatrixDelay in the next days/weeks.

Nonetheless I wanna earn some money, so there's a discount on following devices until end of october (call it "celebration of the reopening" , if you need marketing language :grin: ):

- LoopMangler 60 Eur (20 Eur less)
- StepSequencer 49 Eur (10 Eur less)
- MidiToolBoxExt 109 Eur (10 Eur less)
- Analyzer Pack 39 Eur (10 Eur less)
- all bundles are sold for 20 Eur less (except StepSeqBundle: 10 Eur less)

peace & groove on !
Wolfgang

Hi Wolf,

do you have any details on the future update to miditoolbox? Maybe this will tip me over the edge of buying now :smile:

cheers.

Hi husker,

beside small fixes there will be at least two devices added to the box:
- Audio2Note (device)
This one is different to the free version as it has more options and therefor can achieve better and more consistent results.
- SoftTakeOver (modular module)
- bidirectional control modifier (I'm not shure about that)

thanks for your interest :smile:

good to see you back again
is it alowed to say that Audio2Note gives great results here in Vienna;
forget native (i learned a new word) SW -> to slow for drum;
forget Vdrum or acustic drum trigger -> to expensive for a low budget
Audio2Note is the way to go for a scoper;
good vibes from vienna

ahh, yes .. forgot to mention that there will be an update for the analyzer pack as well. For one a possibility to see levels in the routing window :
<IMG SRC="http://homepage.mac.com/wrueter/images/vu.jpg">
Then there was a wish to make a meter bridge and to add a possibility to give the devices a name.

Of course it is allowed to praise my devices, tgstgs :wink:

Wolf, you make GREAT devices, you have a very nice price policy and you allways make very clear statements!
I would have loved to buy expecially the midi-things (sending midi signals from modular)for modular but I haven't seen an absolute need for them for my way working in scope although I think they are really fantastic and absolutely new for the platform!!

keep up the good work !!!

Martin

wolf Welcome back,What are the defference between the 8 Band Parametric EQ & the
8 Band EQ ? & which of these will you advice your customers to have,8 Band EQ or spEQtrum ?

okantah, thanks for your interest !

8BandEQ offers more kinds of filters than the parametric one (low-/highshelf with adjustable steepness - the only one on scope, low-/highcut - again with adjustable steepness, notch). Beside that it has a in/out level display, a more streamlined surface and dsp saving features.
spEQtrum combines all that with a spectrum analyzer behind the eq curve, a gain-bandwidth dependency feature as well as a possibility to link the frequencies (gain link for even more emulation possibilities is in the work). The 8BandEQ is included in the spEQtrum package.
Deeper info is available on my website.

mccyrano, thanks for the kind words :smile:

duuh, forgot to answer the question ... tsts.
Well, of course I'd advice to get spEQtrum, as it includes the 8BandEQ and offers far more possibilities for just 20 Eur more.

When ordering it takes maximum 24 hours (usually less time) until I'll send out the devices via mail. You don't need any key to run my devices.

thanks,
Wolfgang

I praise Wolf for the extremely fast response (10 minutes?).
I just got the step sequencers and been playing with the 16 steps one, as i'm a beginner.

Now up and running and happy owner of the only step sequencers i know that works as it should!

i tried many vstis that were badly synched, tried era that doesn't send relevant note off messages except if you sub route it to a vst synth and many other absurd manipulations. I also gave up using Noah's step sequencer, which works very well, but that can be complicated to set up on my system (not enough midi ins).

Now, i'm a happy synth sequencer (running it on Biosc4 as I write).

Very highly recommended and with the right compatibilty for SpaceF synths. I am running it on Biosc4 as i write this message.

So if you are a user of SpaceF, then SpaceF tells you that Wolf designs are recommended and compatibility has been checked. it works very well.

Thank you Wolf and bravo for your advanced skills.

Mehdi

Hi Wolf, bought your Analyzerpack.

A suggestion for your shop;

make it possible to choose plugins to buy.

It's better to be able to buy with one sale ....

Best Regards,

Jan-Einar

I'm not shure if this is easily possible with shareit (the invoice service), let's see.

Thanks,
Wolfgang
