You can browse a preset list's banks and presets using the up/down arrows and the "enter" key of your typing keyboard.
- Banks must be indexed
- Presets must be indexed
When you open the preset list, you do not need to clic with the mouse. Just begin browsing.
Keys (pc):
- up/down arrows: allow to navigate in bank/presets entries
- backspace : go up (goes back to bank list when you are inside a bank)
- enter; select (go inside a bank, or recall the highlighted presets).
may be useful one day

This is useful spacef thanks. I already use the up/down arrows for preset browsing but always have to select with mouse click. So hopefully if I follow this I can do it all from the keyboard.

I've installed a wireless keyboard/mouse for this reason... my master keyboard is 1m away from my synth PC. When I play for fun (random preset tryout), I just place keyb/mouse over the masterK panel.
It's very useful when the preset list is not complete (marked from 0 to 127).

M Audio KS 88 Pro was meant for SFP as it has toggle switches for presets, transports 4 Multitrack recorder, change parameters for synths, and FX, drawbars for B2003, and much more with pedals. Since it's " weighted action " is good for synth work only, I still use the MC3000 Oberheim for pianos, Rhodes, etc. But this cheap 88 note multi zone controller is awesome w/ SFP for 300 USD on ebay all day long.

I'm actually having problems with this. After I hit enter and the new preset is loaded the focus on the preset window is lost. This means I have to mouse click inside it again in order for the keyboard functions to work. Has anyone found this?

I noticed that it doesn't work with all devices too : sometimes, you do have to click on the preset list again so it is "re-activated" to receive keyboard commands (i guess because of multiple preset lists in the dev, eventhough it might be something else, it is still a bit unclear as i didn't investigate further for the moment).
Personally, it means that I should really get a keyboard with program changes (like on my old edirol which had very handy preset -/+ , but it is lacking on my emu keyboard).

You've mentioned the KS88Pro a few times. I also have one, but when you mention the possibilities, I get a little dumbfounded. I've tried to comb the manual, but in usual form, the manual shows how to use the features of the keyboard, but not why you'd use them.
If you have a second, I would REALLY appreciate if you could talk out how you're using the KS88Pro with CWA stuff.
I'm more familiar with the computer/engineering side of audio production than the keyboard workstation side, so a lot of things like zones, setting up the transport properly, using the preset keys, etc. whistle by me.
If you don't have the time or inclination, I won't fault you, but if you do, I think your knowledge and creativity on these matters would be useful to a lot of others here. ...and me, of course.
