UBDATE-PACKS WILL ARRIVE SOON!

1 band saturated EQ.
What do you think about thisone? I have the impression that it sounds very sweet.

Martin

EDIT:
- added EQ overdrive (you can take it from DSP)
- added pitch shifter (you can take it from DSP) (just an experiment)

EDIT:
- Some wishes fullfilled.
- New bad looking design.. but hey, there will come some goodlooking ... someday ;o)
- next time I will make a cow in the background, anybody has a favourite one?

KNOBDESIGN BY SHROOMS / Pixelbites
I will add that phrase soon. Sorry for forgetting it again.

thats exactly what I asked you to build.
why is it a demo?

you are on the best way jumping on the "I want money for every click" bandwagon?

I understand that somebody wants money for hard work he has had done ....
Butthis isn`t at all.
Its just a quick arrangement.

I`m sorry to say this but I`m sure you won`t sell to much of this kind of work.

Sorry no offense or attack.

Is this a completely new EQ circuit? If so, there's surely real potential.

Make it free too!

Sorry all for that discussion with DAS today. i want to do something positive now, so in a few minutes the free device will be up.

Yes, hifiboom: THIS IS YOUR DEVICE!!!
(But I don't agree on your points though. You should know that building these devices means lots of work for me which i should spend with my girlfriend.)

That makes no sense to me. Anything with cow in the name is kinda funny, but what does it mean?

btw, the pitch-shiftable feedback is very interesting!

Oh, then my google translation had no success...

"Satt" means "has eaten enough" "don't want to eat any more"

Martin

P.S.
SATTeKuh in german sounds very similar to Sat EQ.

So, it is satt as in satisfied, satiated.
Saturated.
That is a great name that workd=s on many levels.
If we assume a full cow as a happy cow, then it is a contented cow.
If we further assume that contentment thus saturated, can lead to a bovine enlightenment, perhaps through a process similar to one of their stomach functions that transmutes grass into butter, a sacred cow, or bovinsattva is born.
saturated and equalized.
SatteKuh, sacred cow of contentment.

Sorry 4 the digression. I am away from scope pc now, but want to say thanks in general for pointing some of your creativity into this forum. You guys are doing some great work that keeps the platform lively.

Someday I might get an SDK and join in, if I ever have time/money ratio right...

'zatte koe' in dutch means drunken cow...
I agree with Shroomz here that cow in a name doesn't sound good.
I got the name joke, 'sat-eq', and there's 'saturation eq' on the Gui surface as a hint, beside of the name, so that was clear to me.
Hope to try this one out tonight in my current mix

Please Martin,

no cow in the background! Its not good if you are on a real project, and loading some cows and pigs and other animals destroys the workflow. At least mine.

And it doesn`t make too much sense...
I think the device is useful and good sounding, but take a serious design and serious name.

The tool really has nothing to do with a cow...

"The tool really has nothing to do with a cow... "

Do you know that for sure? I built in some secret cows for the colouring between overdirve & Pitch ;o)

so I played around a liitle bit with grafic tools and it could look something like this.

Image
this would be the one band version, but

there could be also a 2 or 4 band version.

Its not really complete. still much room for improvement:

-the numbers around the knobs are still missing and the shades too.
-Maybe a lighter background would look better.
-And it could be slightly smaller.
-the knob in the middle should be big sized, because its the most important. scaling fro 0 to maximum.
-maybe a clip LED and an input Gain
-maybe a small VU meter on top to show how much distrtion is occuring. (vintage style)

-not only numbers around knobs, but also scales, Shroomz showed this in his thread:
Image

But I think it still looks better than the original GUI.

Best regards, if you want the background image email me.

by the way the name Razor seems to fit also very nice, because its sharpening the sound, with distortion in a specified frequency band.

If you want I can help you adding the gfx.

Best regards...
