Just playing with unusual time signatures.
It's pretty raw right now - so any comments and/or advice is very welcome.

Tie me kangaroo down sport!

Interesting and I enjoyed it. The piano sounds like FM synthesis which personally I don't like. It's great to hear someone doing something original.

Yeah - piano is just a free VSTi called 4Front Piano Module.
I put it through a synthetic reverb with modulation effect to emphasise it's nastiness

Thanks for the comments

Very nice song, I like it much!

Overall, nice mix and sound, quite pleasant tint to the song, whatever you’ve used to finalise it.

This present song is clearly into the field of fusion-jazz music. Your style, or rather this song in particular because I have not heard anything else from you so far, is a bit like the early times Tribal Tech. I strongly recommend you to listen at them, because if you composed this, you’ll like them too.

Cool, keep working like this.

Hi guys - thanks for the positive feedback.
I enjoyed making that piece - the style is a little out of my league - but practice makes perfect ... yes?

Nestor - thanks for pointing me towards Tribal Tech - I like their stuff a lot - reminds me of Weather Report on Acid (well the track previews from the 1999 "Thick" CD do).

You will have heard some of my stuff under the boring nick of "blgrace" - but not in this style.
I changed my nick to "Audio Irony" recently.

Believe it or not - my inspiration came from listening to Frank Zappa's "Hot Rats" - the first track - Peaches in Regalia - not that this track is even the same style - just reminded me of complicated things to try

He did a lot of technical odd and mixed time signatures and tempo changes.
