Hi !
I'm working with Cubase SX2. Though Reaktor 5 don't work as an VST Plugin (no one know why) I would like to run both programs at the same time. But when I start the second program, I get the messagem that Scope platform is not running or has got no Asio devices in it. But it has! What can I do to run both program and play Reaktor with Cubase via MIDI?!?

Thx LoOp

I believe you have to install reaktor 5 as a VSTi specifically. It's an option during install. Maybe you didn't install it?

Anyways I would try to reinstall Reaktor first, then both Cubase and Reaktor, and if that doesn't work, I'd reinstall everything windows, all apps, the lot!

Reaktor and SX2 works perfectly well, you have to find out what you have done wrong. There are too many people using this convination.

As suggested here, start by getting to know if you have properly installed Reaktor as VST, or at least, several platforms including VST.

Then you should see how your MIDI is setup, it seems to me that you are traying to run both Reaktor and Cubase at the same time, but with the standalone version, and you don't have enough ASIO drivers there. That could be one.

Make a "technical" description of what the problem is, and not an "emotional" descritpion, because we cannot know what is going on in your system because of your frustration, we obviously, understand it, but it is of no use. Please, get us a clear explanation with names, paths, etc., so we can guess.

Cheers

you can't use Reaktor-as-stand-alone and Cubase sharing SFP-ASIO.
The ASIO protocol isn't multi-client

This is what I mean, and this is perhaps what he's doing.

So, did you solve the problem?
