I was wondering how the backups of planetz are dealth with!
Maybe it be nice to set up some mirrors for all the wonderfull content we have!
I did a traceroute at work, it looks like I can use our 100mbit openpeering (free) connection to reach planetz.com

I back up the forums database nightly, and transfer it offsite occasionally...
The mp3 files and device files are not currently backed up separately by me.
I'm assuming the ISP does regular backups of their disks to cover all those...
Mirroring is an interesticd proposal - but it's hige (about 3.5gb of data), so that becomes an issue

Brotha'Man John Cooper,
You have the logo which states moderator underneath your name. That's way cool. Is there a way I could get a custom logo under my name from you? I do like the pulsar given names, but was hoping 4 a customisation if possible. I know I am not worthy, but I had to try.
Thank You For A Great Forum Sir,

A custom logo? I know lots of forums let you pick an "avatar" or custom little picture to go with your name. I never thought it was that important so I didn't try to add it.
I'm gonna start a new thread about potentially upgrading these forums. I'll post a link to it in a minute...
