there's only one wah-wah for me, cry baby (dunlop)... it's available in different version.

hey katano, i heard they were noisy? did you have a chance to compare them with morley's?

I can't talk from personal experience because it's been a looooooooong time since I used a CryBaby Wah . .
I did google and find some reviews which may be helpful - even Behringer make them now

Interestingly . . there's a pedal called "Budda BudWah Guitar Wah Pedal" which is apparently based in the VOX pedal and gets 9.8/10.... who knew there would be so many(?)

I've got one on my shopping list. Yeah... they are a bass wah, but they sound better than a guitar wah in my opinion. They move the bass and mids really well and seem to leave the highs to cut through semi clean. This one is built like a tank, and really easy to use. You just put your foot on the pedal to turn it on or off.

Add to that, they sound great, they're quite cheap, and readily available through your local ebay..... go try one.

I've used the Cry Baby for some time, but about 20 years ago! Well, it was absolutely fantastic, but today there are so many good ones that it is very difficult to tell you about any. I think you must go out there, and try them by yourself, don't trust our words, they may be very personal. Cry Baby was a preffered sound for me and it still is, but you may want something cleaner and softer, a more perfected sound. The old G3, multieffects pedal can give you a tremendous wah and an array of other high quality effects too. You realy need to get out there and try, this is my best word. Good luck!

wah pedals are an artform.

the cry-baby is a classic indeed, but it does not suit every playing style.

there is the mu-tron wah that i love for its extra funkiness, and also a boss pedal that has a very narrow band..

my suggestion is to go to the music shops and just listen to as many wahs as you can since each one will give you a diferent charecter....

ah! the man behind flexor himself is here Hi Red, would there be a way to use your product to simulate the effect to a satisfactory level?

a highly questionable request from the moral point of view...
others also want their chance to sell a pedal now and then - a Flexor driven 'authentic box' would kill them within the first stomp

Also, I think maybe Spacef has a wah wah!?.

There is absolutely NOTHING to equal the Cry Baby. Today's wah pedal have too much resonance and too wide a frequency depth. I can never quite tweak the wah on my Pod2 the right to make it approximate the warth of a Cry Baby.

Fuck that it's noisy, it's part of it's "charm".

I anxiously await the Flexor 2.0 wah-wah's. I use to use an Apollo wah wah when I was woodshedding Jimi Hendrix back in the '60's, and liked it more the the VOX pedal. I was only 10 years old, but Suzie Q., and All Along The Watchtower were the songs Du Jour back then. Josef Zawinul, and Chick Corea, and Herbie have done wonders with external pedals. It is so nice to have them in the virtual world. Just make sure they are dirty and noisy, along with the clean digital versions.

If I'm not mistaken, Red just gave us a small sign of evidence that Flexor 2 will actually get released some day

I thought that the development of Flexor 2 had stopped completely due to other timeconsuming projects of the developers life, so this is really good news for us Creamware users if you ask me
