Greetings.

I am happy with my current setup of Cubase running through an MLAN audio card. I just got a Scope Professional card, and want to use it purely as a dsp, like I do with my UAD card. How do I do this?

Thanks in advance

Richard

Maybe what you need is a "defeater key".

So i can in theory just do it in XTC mode. Great. Here's the problem.. I'm confused. (Surprise, right!) I can't quite figure out how to configure the xtc.pro settings. Cubase sees all the plugins, but when I go to instantiate one, I get a 'xtc plugin not properly configured' and the fx don't do anything and the synths don't either. I've tried with the manuals but am clearly missing something elementary. Any cheat sheets available for this?

Zem
I think the problem ultimately is that my xtc.pro file may be incorrect. Because I'm using IO from my mlan, and nobody else seems to do that, I'm not sure what the xtc configuration should be. Any ideas on what the .pro should look like to use xtc mode with no Scope IO?

you do need to remove the i/o from the card and install a plug(defeater key)onto the connector for the i/o daughter card afaik.

I think I have a better idea... sort of. I'm going to use the i/o from the Creamware card. That should make things easier.

More as I figure this out better!
