Hi guys,

I'm not sure if you all know this, but there are features in this forum to notify you by email when someone replies to your topic, or sends you a private message. This is a nice convenience!

However, if your profile email address is wrong/bogus, then the bounce messages all get sent to me. Not fun!

For this to work well, you need to maintain a valid email address in your profile. Email addresses are verified at registration time, but if your address has changed, I have no way to know. Log in, click on "Edit Profile" in the upper right corner of your screen, and make sure the address is good!

Make sure you uncheck "allow others to view my email address" if you don't want it public. (Please don't insert tokens like "remove-this" etc, as that will just result in more bounced mail to me! If you want it obfuscated, just hide it and people can pmsg you to get your address).

I'll pmsg a couple of you, for whom I very often get bounced emails!

Thanks guys!
-John

Hi John,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience, these automated forum emails hadn't crossed my mind - removed the cryptical nonsense in my email adress!

Cheers,

at0m.
