Mastering engineers will make 3d frequency sculptures with their hands.
There will be true Paganinis of improvised electronica.
These devices will have a deep impact on all digital arts. We will have to learn to use a computer once more.

WOW!! That looks incredible.
Although, If the 'Lemur' system is anything to go buy you'll have to take out a mortgage or sell your grandmother to pay for the technology.

This would be the ultimate musical instrument. Once again audio takes the back seat to the visual.

... all you didn't want to know about the technology...

a 300 pages <a href=
http://www.ece.udel.edu/~westerma/main.pdf>pdf dissertation</a> and a <a href=
http://forums.fingerworks.com/>forum</a>
a quote from the latter about multipoint touch devices: ... the sensor technology is rather simple, it's the incredibly smart firmware of the controller that makes the difference...
cheers, Tom
