Hello Mehdi! Will this be available to current BlackboxII owners?
I have to say that I bought Black Box mostly for the filters and oscillators, to use in my Modular patches, and they really are something. But I was mostly surprised and impressed by the quality of the standalones: AnOsc and BiOsc, that can become like "little modulars", with custom Oscs, Filters and FX, but in a very tidy, useful and fresh GUI (those superimposed EG animations are excellent); the Echo delays, ultra-tweakable and unexpectable; and LBH!! What an inspiring, surprising instrument... And then there's loads of others.
I still haven't got through all of the Balckbox, but, so far, it's been really fun to play with! So, a big thanks to you, and a reccomendation to Scope users - check this stuff out!

Hello,
I write from a Cybercafé with a very slow connection (my computer not available til saturday). (just for info, i haven't been able to access my emails this week).
Biosc4 is free to BlackBox II owners and
Biosc users who purchased it recently.
I will be back online sunday or monday and will explain better.
I hope that a 19 euro upgrade is ok to other people; it will allow me to continue to release new osc and filters for free in the future (unless people prefer a free biosc upgrade and prefer to pay for osc and filters - i think that the best for everyone is to continue to get free osc and filters??. it is difficult to decide: maybe people can mail me with their opinion?).
Anyway, see you on sunday/monday.
Mehdi

Spent some more time playing with BiOsc 4 last night and I am really blown away by the capability of this synth. It's the perfect showcase for all the amazing work that Mehdi's done with the Black Box oscillator and filter modules. the factory presets will keep you entertained for hours as you go 'How has he done that' which leads you to explore the different oscillators and filters, and then you experiment by changing the oscillators and get wildly different results.
Using oscillators like the Warp 324 allow you to create patches that are not possible on any other SFP device (maybe on no other synth on the market?) and then you realise that Warp 324 has its own set of presets which opens up even more possibilities.
Small touches like the OSC Delay parameter (where you can delay the triggering of one or other of the Oscillators by a certain amount (in sync with BPM to match the effects if you like) also offers possibilities that I've not seen elsewhere.
This synth is really fun, really easy to program, despite being heavily modular and very very powerful. I urge you to check out the demo straightaway.
Ben
PS Mehdi, does the demo come with all of the satellite oscs and filters? If not, people, if you're trying the demo, you should also download the blackbox demo. (Well you should to that anyway!)

Thank you for the kind note Ben ! It is always welcome and encouraging.
Concerning demos, yes there is always a multifilter and multiosc in the demo packs, that can be used to see how the osc/filter system works.
But it is quite difficult to demo more osc and filters, as it would either require additional time limitation, or ways to limit them, whereas they are mostly interesting for their edition possibilities....
But with approx 70 oscillators, and 40 filters, it becomes hard to make demo (my fault, i always thought the time that it would take to make demo would be better used for new devices
I'll try to make a demo for an SMOS oscillator (which are descendants of the Warp324) , but again, they are interesting when they are not limited....
See you later this week end as i come close to completion of the making of and the oscillators manuals.
