In an interesting article in the guardian,There is a theory which says that of a hundred people, one person will provide the content,10 will interact with it and 89 will view it.So the question remains, are you mainly a viewer, primarily an interacter or mostly a provider.I might add that Mister John Cooper is not included in this thread,as he is what is known as a "Creator or Moderator"(I think the O in Creator makes it alot more impressive).

P.s. Just put viewer,Interacter or Provider.
I'm definitely mostly a viewer.

interesting article. I mean, it points out the obvious, but it's funny to see it in numbers. I think it's also proportionate to the real world too. 1% provides ideas and plans for a product, 10% interact with it and realize the product, and the rest consumes it.

If I was only a viewer, would a reply to the thread make me an interracter?
This thread was deleted to make me a viewer

100-1 is very generous. Stats from a business I used to have connections to suggested the ratio is more like 1000 to 1.

I said are you mainly or mostly a viewer,Interracter etc.I said I was mostly a viewer, but since I've started this thread I am slowly becoming an interracter. Is this thread actually going anywhere? How can we measure the 1% theory in this forum? Does anyone really care ?

oh, it was actualy meant to be some sort of pole.
Well, I guess I'm an interacter if it's limited to internet. In general, I'd tend to think that most planetZ people are creators, in terms of music and stuff.. It's hard because people switch roles from time to time depending on medium and context. Obviously, just because you've created one web community, it doesn't make you a full time creator.

I think it depends on what you create. If you do bread, there are great possibilities, but if you do great sculptures the proportion may be much larger. If you are a writer, the proportions may be even larger, and if you are a composer, it all depends on what you compose. Well, in fact, what I just said it sounds to me to pure speculation anyway... so don't pay too much attention to it

So you think that as a creator,John Cooper our founder, should start making bread ? No.This is getting pretty Spacey(Not Kevin).
Personally I think it all hangs on the content and the people who interact with it.If you go onto alot of soundcard computer splergeblurb forums you may notice that 1. there are more moderators than browsers(god what must they do all day).2 the overall technicity of their users is pretty poor.I suppose that's an after sales service thing. Here there is(Let me count)......One moderator,Creator and alot of fanatics, who own one of the most difficult soundcards on the planet to deal with,of which nobody in their right mind would part with, and no company After Sales affiliation. It's phenomenal.Go Figure.
