Hi
I want to expand my project card with more inputs. Another creamware card is unfortunately not an option.(no money and bad experiences with two cards). I was thinking of an extra soundcard with adat inputs and route the signals trough asio where i finally can edit it in scope fusion platform.
I don't know if this works but does someone has any ideas (not expensive ones) that can help me getting more (8) inputs?

noneeed for an extra audio card, an ADAT rack mounted IO would do, like A16U, for 16in 16 out, or cheaper, Behringer ADA8000 for example.
That would add you 8 in with 8 preamps, and 8 output too... for around 250€ that's cheap enough

this will not work because the 2 Asio drivers (Scope Asio and the 'other' card's Asio) cannot talk to each other.
Have you considered a Z-Link IO box ?
cheers, Tom

a 24ADAT I/O plate is the cheapest option.
however there is no 96Khz support on the 24ADAT.
If this is an option I can hep you locate a plate at a dealer in the USA.

An old pulsar card with adat would be the cheapest option. You should know that ali.
However i've had major problems with two creamware cards so was hoping for another solution.
[edit] aah you mentioned one card..still not very cheap..

you said above that another card is a problem so I suggested changing only the I/O plate on your Project from 2xADAT I/O plate to 3 X ADAT, hence the 3ADAT I/O.
no need to change the card or add another change only ther I/O plate. there is no cheaper alternative I can think of better than swaping the I/O plate.

sorry ali, my words where unlucky.
So if I get this right, I can keep my project card and just add an extra adat i/o plate?
Can I buy this i/0 plate seperately or do I have to buy a dsp card also? I've never seen this option from creamware.

the I/O plates on the Project/Prof can be changed. 4 plastic screws and a gentel pull will remove the I/O plate and you end up with an SRB. then you can add another plate.
the 24ADAT plate has 3 X ADAT and 2 X midi I/O. no analog no digial. ALL I/O are ADAT.
Also there is no 96Khz support with this type of plate.
these plates are no longer sold by Creamware however I can find you a dealer who can get you one.
you will keep your existing I/O plate or even sell it here on Z.
