Hi I just bought a 2nd hand luna and when I open the mixer I see the noise level in the analog inputs is always at -75/74.
Is it normal or is my card defective? Thanks.

Confirm! It's normal.
For this reason in my project, the mic IN is muted as defalut, but mind that -70db is near to absolute silence!
These digital measures are too precise, U can see what U can't really ear...

your board normal.

I insert a gate into all channels that have such a little noise floor. My hardware synths produce between -77 and -80 dB noise. You could also mute this channel when you did your recording.

Gary, of course you're right. The thing with the gates is only useful for me when I record digitally with my MD player. When I choose the option that the recording begins when the MD gets a signal ("music sync"), the player starts immediately to record, even if it receives only a -80dB noise. In other cases, these gates are not necessary. -80dB is really not audible.
Cheers, Thomas
