While I feverishly await my act.key for Flexor, I am putting together Modular project for use of learning and such. But as soon as I load a patch, I get an error message that windows needs to close. This happens on ModII, and on ModIII. It says to check my installation? I used these before and they worked. Since I installed Solaris 4.1 I've noticed some things I did wrong by misplacing the VXD folder, so I re-did the installation and it seems fine. But should I do a re-install after copying everything of course? I want to play with my toys, I have the whole weekend to study this stuff.

When everything is on the right place, a complete re-installation shouldn't be necessary. Mod2 or III atoms don't affect the win registry, I think.
Happy weekend, Thomas

It seems as though I found a cure. I load a project that I use live w/ Solaris 4.1, and B2003. Then I deleted all of the modules, just leaving the Modular to experiment with. This is boring to you guys I'm sure, but I had to fall back on my old Emerson patch from Moog 100 series, " Lucky Man." I know that is petty compared to what you guys have done, but it is a start. I also loaded a patch for ModIII from a guy I met at a gig in Japan. A 6 Oscillator mono/legato patch that convinced me of the strengths of the Modular. It still cannot replace the analog I use in the low end sweeping filter sound, but in the mid and high end it is practically indistinguishable. I am going to love this weekend, as Alfonso said 3-4 days of hard study, then Flexor on Monday. I cannot contain myself.
