I discovered that Cubase 3SX is good for doing music and audio for video. I also used Virtual Dub (a free utility) and Windows Movie Maker, also public domain video from the Prelinger Archive and PhotoPaint.

you can load a free plug in virtual dub called deshaker . It's got a learning curve with it[get the guide too] but it's great for getting rid of excessive hand held shakes in your own footage :smile:
