I had some issues and decided to do reformat/reinstall. One of my cards now shares IRQ with "82801FB/FBM SMBUS Controller". I have one open slot and switched the card to there, but then it was sharing IRQ with my graphics card, which I know is bad from experience. Can I disable the SMBUS controller? Will it have any negative impact on pulsar card performance if I don't? Should I reinstall in standard PC mode, I read somewhere you can assign IRQs that way....

i have a card sharing with the smbus controller and work with no problems. i think it really depends on the motherboard, but usually that will be no problem.
