Didn't really want to bump this thread myself, but I've just GOT to mention this. The studio design forum in the second link is INCREDIBLE. Like Z, it's a place you could spend months reading & learning. The quality of knowledge on the many aspects of accoustics is of particular interest. If you have time, take a really good look at the forum in my second link above, as honestly, there's a completely astounding wealth of knowledge. Guys who've been designing & building recording studios for 30-40 years spouting info, that sort of thing
