because creamware had to cut most of its work force during its financial troubles! What did you think? lol..

na, seriously, what version are you using? I'm on 3.1c and I dont' get that. Just an occasional hang here and there related to modIII. You may have a broken file.

Is there a sts-sampler in your projects? When I'm fiddling with my sts-4000, sometimes my daw reboots without any warning!
Once more: Does your scope "need to close" also when there is NO sts in your project?

in the past i had a serius problem with scopes samplers.
i couldn't load any.
when i loaded a sampler scope needed to close.
i fixed it by a complete new fresh windows installation.
now i had this shutting down problem without any samplers in use.
i hope it is not serious.
to be more specific, i had turned on all the visual effects of xp, just to work for a while in a more funny environment.
i think that these graphics made a sort of problem with scope.
i disabled them all again.
i will never change this setting again and i will keep all visual effects disabled.
i hope that i will not face it again.
sfp.exe must not close.

i would appreciate some tips of making my pc more light, fast and stable. if there are more that i haven't tryied.
thanks

You'll see, you get more fun from scope itself than from optical effects ...

Exactly.

It really needs to be closed and money returned to misfortunate victims!

Blame CREAMWARE for the DRIVERS!!!

Are you using a legit copy of Nuendo?

Cracked versions of Nuendo are extremely unstable.

I don't mean to insinuate anything.

I think they should put an error message up saying.
"Like, come on what do you expect, don't worry, it's not that important, shit happens"

Check the voltages coming out of your PSU. There are quite a few utilities to do this, including your BIOS, but I think you'lll want to do this while Scope is up & running.

Also run memtest.exe or something similar.
