my stm mixers monitors L/R are given just reverted. the MonL is what i hear from mixR and the MonR is what i hear from MixL
why?

Mentioned before, no reason given by anyone.
Except the genious thought of someone here that, in a classic recording situation in a studio with controll room and play room the artists sit in a mirrowed position to the engineer.
Drummers 'left' is engineers 'left' then
Never use that mixer's output, but it seems to be a (itsietiny) bug

i have participated in many classical recordings with greek radio chorus and orchestra and i suppose that you are joking

it's a bug i think..... unless you are true
but why shouldn't i use monitor outs?
aren't these that give exactly what's recorded in sequencer?

Here's a scenario :-
You're using surround monitoring of whatever flavour. When you spin 180 in your enviroment, your L speakers become R & vice versa ..
