A really cool device for XTC freaks would be a utility that converted creamware .pre files into .fxb files for VST plugs....
does such a thing exist?

You could do this manually, load a .pre and save a .fxp etc.
You only have to do it once.
I don't see the big deal though, as .pre to my knowledge works ok.
However, I do occatinaly save a preset of a set of VST's in Tracktion.
