These kind of statment rises up agan and agan, the old suspicious idead that some companies may be creating their own viruses...

the virus companies ADMIT that they create malicious code. it's "research" and they hire the best hackers to do it.
if i remember correctly, symantec has a sort of virus museum or library were they catalog all the bad code for the public, and that code includes the original viruses made(for fun), which happen to be made by the company's founders....or something like that. certainly someone here remembers the proper story....
business is good...
