This I can't get out of my head: why couldn't she memorize the verses of the song Imagine. I mean everybody by now knows at least the first verse but she, the wife of Lenon, can't remember it? I mean couldn't she at least memorize it if she didn't know it? Peter Gabriel didn't need to read the verses and he wasn't married to John Lenon

Yep, you can remember all of this if you don't use LSD...

How about Yoko just plain getting old?
Nice message but she just does not sound credible, eh?

Perhaps a new question instead of "how is it that she cannot still sing imagine? for "Why doesn't she speak some english after so many years?

There's no justice in the world. That witch should've taken the bullet, not poor old 'under the thumb' tripped out John. I very much dislike Yoko, sorry John.

Lennon and the Beatles never were my cup of tea, but after a TV feature (a couple of years ago) about John and Yoko I got the strong impression that it was HER who was the driving force behind the couple's enterprises.
cheers, Tom

It is true that none of us knew/know J&Y at all. Pop speculation

The Lennon solo material wasn't as good as his work with the Beatles but then again most of Paul's solo work wasn't either. There are exceptions in both cases. I think of Yoko as the first punk rocker in the dawn of corporate rock. Maybe she isn't the best musician but at least she is an original and energetic. If you listen to Lennon's interview with Werner in 1970 you will hear that he was quite tired of the Beatles in the end.
