I found some time playing with it, in a version which is going to be used, as background in a video from a huge live roleplay event in denmark, where the band performed. (oh, huge sentence!)

I had huge fun with this as I could (and did) trash things into rather extremes. Also, I really like the songs from this band, and we are even going to record some more...lucky me.

I used a lot of flexor devices, both for the huge pumping compressed drums, and various sound FX.

My major concern is that most tv-sets cannot reproduce the lo freqs of this :,(

im no expert in this area, but i can easily imagine the early verse gets VERY har do interpret, especially on an older tv-set. baybe some SLIGHT distortion could bring a little hiss to it in a good way, very subtly applied, just to bting some "non hearable" high frequencies to carry it, i know its dark for a reason, but it might be doable without ruining the build-up?

Anyways, i totally dig it on my regular speakers

I must say for this, I never had my gain so high on my preamp, because, mostly air comes out.

Hey there! Compared to the first version, I find that the voice has lost its "intimacy" because of hi freq filtering. I mean the feeling of proximity is lost and that was the element that struck me most in the previous version, as if the singer sang straight in my hear. I liked it and thought that it showed a character we seldom hear in a singer's voice. You didn't like it? It placed the voice really upfront that is certain. Strangely, that is the one thing I remember above all else in the tune (from the 1st version): the outstanding voice tone of the singer. Its not all gone but much of the character that struck me has been stripped.

Otherwise, as usual, your sound sculpting is amazing. I personally prefer more quiet music but I can recognize your craftsmanship! Keep it up my friend!
