Have you tried to search the installation folder for the file? What's the exact name of the file?

i am a bit confused now. thanx on forehand to everybody who can help me.
in my routing window, under effects there is grapheq (stereo and mono as well). its in light blue while the other effects in the effects-pull-down-window are yellow.
when i activate grapheq there is this call:
cant find dsp file parametricequalizer 4p.
also grapheq is not working.
in the manual i can see that grapheq is not mentioned under effects but under studio. the grapheq.dev files are in the stereo and mono effects folder.
any hints for solving my problem?

the file is on the install disk under app/dsp. i believe it's just called "eq4p.dsp" it should be in the same place on your computer. if it's not, drag and drop it where it goes(when scope is closed, of course). if it is there, right click, choose "properties" and be sure it is not checked "write only".

...or try to install the grapheq once more from the oxe file you find
here as 31_band_EQ_v2

I made an experiment. I removed a file called
EQ4P.DSP from the dsp menu and got the same message you got trying to load the GraphEQ. So, this is the file you need. It can be found in the 4.5 install folder in DSP subfolder. So Gary is right

Also, when a device asks you to "reinstall", is not refering to SCOPE software as a whole, but the the device itself. When you get problems with devices, you will rarely need to install SCOPE anew, but just a little file, like in this case.

I keep reading about this grapheq but when I try and install it it asks for a keyfile? I can't see where you would buy it though?

One you could buy it as a separate plug but now it's a part of the 4.5 upgrade.

Kymeia,
Have you tried to enter the key manually (you can find it in your 'my page' @creamware?
