Hi dudes.
I have two scope pro cards in my scope machine.
when I load about 3 instances of the new pro 12 it says I have reached the dsp limit.
I have 30 dsp's so this can't be correct.
What should my scope.cfg file look like, or what is the file I should edit.
regards,
ps my new mother board is an ASUS P4GPL-X with an Intel 915PL chipset
regards,
Jimi

I only have one stdm cable.
Why would more than one cable make a difference?

You have to try with at least two conections. You could even add more. It does make a difference to spread the load.
I've reached this conclusion recently when I put back my 2 Pulsar II config on 2 stdm cables and reversed the order of the cards (the one listed second had most of the authorizations). Night and day ! I hardly get any message like this now.

I would say definitely yes.
I had such errors when I used only one stdm cable.
Now, I have 4 of these and it rules ;o)

HI Guys,
I can try more STDM cables.
Also I am in the middle of authorizing the Sonic Timeworks Gold Bundle.
Should I apply these to the second card, or doesn't it matter.
That is to say on loading a project, does some sort of load balancing take place.
regards,
Jimi.
