Just wondering what you guys set your Pulsar cards to and your graphics cards.

I have Pulsar2 and two pulsar 1s.Since I set them all to 64 I get scope.sys crashes occasionally.

What about you guys?

PCI Latency 64 for PowerPulsar (128 samples latency in ULLI).

Sound like the Pulsar1 is driving the game! Should swap to your PulsarII in your configfile (board0 / Board1 definition)

i'm using 64 with pulsar1 + 2x scope srb (first model) but i've tryied with 32 and nothing change with the recent mainboards as asus k8n or gigabyte k8ns pro, but with my older cusl 2 a 32 pci latency timer caused pci master overflows..

ABOUT latency i'm using 512 because the pulsar 1 is the only with i/o....

Correct me if I wrong but it has nothing to ULLI. If one card is the so called 'new generation' - and I presume from your words you have an XTC - then you're entitled to use smaller ULLI than 12ms at 44kHz.

The Pulsar one is the only provided with phisical i/o, the other 2 cards are 15 dsp first generation scope srb, so, from the ulli settings i can set the latency lower than 13 ms@44100, but when restarting a message inform me that the latency is too low for the pulsar one and nothing change.
If you know a way of using a lower latency using the pulsar one i/o, please let me know

DJMicron,

If both your card are first generation (the same 15 DSP board available for DP) I think you are correct. Remember a mate who had to send the board to creamware.

Ok, I withdraw... I thought you had at least one second generation card (from your text 'my only i/o card is pulsar1' I could suspect this, but if you wrote 'my cards are first generation' I would have had no suspections

Never bothered with PCI latency settings, never really had any problems either.

TBH, I doubt that it'll make a whole bunch of difference. Modern BIOSes can ignore/override card latency settings if they want, forcing fairness (fixed max latency) - across all devices on the bus.

The system is dynamically adaptive and IMO that's the best way to let it operate.
