I'm tired of my hanging computer so I tried to re-install yesterday.
1. Win XP Pro SP1 from boot-CD
2. Adaptec driver
3. Pulsar-2 with its Scope4 plugins

The computer worked flawless. Before I connect an external synth (Korg Z1) and played around then suddenly the computer hangs, I could still play but nothing more.
Now I ran for 1 hour testperiod without messup.

How to install the 2nd Pulsar-2 (SRB)?
I first put it in, connect 1 STDM cable (the connector closest to input/output-side), start-up and re-installed scope4, did't work.
Changed cset.ini to NumOfBoard=2, P1=Host bla bla bla... with no success.
Removed all scope-sw and drivers and had both card plugged in from the beginning this time, the install went OK but same problem in the end.
I manually checked cset.ini, not telling NumOfBoard=2 just 1.

The symptom is:
I got a dialog box telling me "DSP exceed.." something, just the same dialog box as when DSP-power isn't enough.
What do I do wrong?

It also tells me that my first P2 is indicated as Pulsar2(2) in routing window.

I use an Abit IS7 with only P2-1 at PCI-4 and SRB at PCI-5.

The strange thing is that I use the same positions and HW as before. The problem begun when I added the SRB.

Re-installed Win yesterday and it seems to work now, odd....but good.
I moved my STDM-cable to the end connectors instead.

I'm sorry you didn't have any answer, but it was something strange indeed...I bet that if you just move the STDM cable in the normal position, it should work as well (maybe better, as it is recommended)...if you do the test you'll be sure it was a faulty software installation.
