What's the difference between a song and a remix?

well, songs do i compose on my own ...the mixes are tracks from other people I like and I put somehow together...but what`s this all about? Listen to it and when you won`t like it you`ll hate it - just that simple
But be careful...this is music which can be divided into 4 with some high aggresion level....jazzers will not benfit from it, I suppose.

no these are Dj mixes with some own parts and they dont`have to do with bastard pop or mash-ups. Allthough I´d really ike to do somekind of mashups but acapellas and instrumentals are very hard to get, I´d say.

well, from the viewpoint of a consumer-listener the whole distinction between song and (re)mix is arbitrairy...

But i get it as you don't want to post otherone's mixes -ehh songs...- in the music forum, which is valuable
I liked the gabba mix, stupid but funny-energetic

Ok, here you go
In our neck of the woods, 'gabba' is something that you're into if you're 14-17 yrs old & into the gabba & happy hardcore reincarnation. (very odd)
It's odd because this differs from country to country. In Holland gabba has never died. In the UK it mostly did, re-surfacing every once in a while, every other generation. F**k knows why. That's just the way it is here in Liberty Cap

I meant that you should post these in the "songs" forum.

Didn't work for me either Zer. I got a download, but the file seemed corrupted as it didn't play.
