Well as the title of this post says, "I am going nuts trying to get XTC working"
As far as I can tell I have installed it properly. I assume I have installed properly because it gave me the option to browse where to put the XTC stuff, which it automatically placed in Logic (I still run version 5.5.1 for PC by the way).
I have checked my VST folder in Logic and they are all there (the XTC stuff that is). But when I want to try to access them I see nothing but the Logic stuff!!
I have unchecked XTC mode, which is what I was told to do, but to no avail. In fact when I do that I get a couple of Error messages saying:
"Scope Fusion platform not running or ASIO Source andAsio Dest Module are not included in your current project"
and
"Asio: Hardware not available (-1000)"
This results in Logic not working.
However when I enable XTC Mode ( by placing a cross inside the box) I can then start up logic without Pulsar running, but no XTC instruments.
I don't get it though, I was told to uncheck the XTC box??!!!
I hope this post makes sense to you and thanks in advance for your help!!!
P.S One final point. I want to record using 24 bit, but it says my soundcard isn't set up to allow that.

the XTC box must be checked and scope exited before opening logic to use xtc mode. you may need to make sure that xtc plugins are in the proper folder. uncheck "enable xtc mode" when using scope mode.
logic doesn't have latency compensation. you might want to skip xtc mode. it's not THAT great. it definitely works fine with logic, though. i've used it many times. you need to have asio or asio2 24bit modules in your project. there is an xtc project in your xtc app folder(xtcproject.pro).

Thanks for your reply Garyb.
I have done all thos e things, but to no avail.
I want to try XTC mode, seeing I never have I just want to see.
And how can you have ASIO 24 bit modules running when Pulsar shouldn't be running for XTC to work?
Excuse my ignorance and again please help to shed some light on this problem please.

you may need to run the 5.51 install again so that logic recognizes the xtc plugins....
xtc mode launches an in-the-backround project so that the scope card acts like a more conventional sound card. that project is called xtcproject.pro. it is in spf/app/xtc app, if i remember correctly.(the info is in this xtc forum) when logic opens and scope is closed with xtc enabled, the card loads that project.
with scope mode open, edit xtcproject.pro. most mixers and devices won't work in xtcproject.pro, but most io will. there are a number of threads on this subject. there is a default xtcproject.pro, but it may not be set up in a way that you like or that you need.
logic must have the asioscope driver selected for xtc plugins to work. if asioscope was not selected, select it, close logic and then restart logic.

Hi again,
I have tried everything you said , but still no luck. I opened up the xtcprojects.pro file but when I do I get a message saying:
"Method SetDynParent in class App@SFP@Application not found"
Anyway I can assure you the XTC apps have loaded themselves into Logic because first of all they are in the VST folder within Logic and secondly I see them load up when I launch Logic.
