It starts getting really interesting about 1/4 of the way down the page....
Anyone else know of something similar?

I wasn't sure what was "interesting" you were pointing to, but the pictures were rather interesting.. Notice how they're extremely wide angled but don't have the fisheye barrel distortion. The pictures were taken using fisheye, and then probably fixed in software so that they're distortion free.(Nikon has software for their fisheye) Otherwise I doubt there's a lense that'll produce such isometric results.

so, what did you mean by "something similar"?

wide angled, indeed, my eyes hurt when I look to those pics
no need for Photoshop here, this is already fx'd

I found the images interesting because I don't normally find both print and high res web resolution photos of architecture like that online. So for "something similar" I mean other such resources...I was actually wandering around the net looking at images of architecture when I bumped into that site. Stuff like this makes great reference imo...although I do realize that the 'palace' in this case is contemporary.

Good to see that the cash we leave at the gas station is well spent

The lamps look too far from the bed for comfortable reading. I'll give it a miss.

Also from United Arab Emirates, The Palm Islands condos (supposedly "the 8th wonder or the Earth", visible from the Moon):

When the oil is gone the magic will dissolve and a voice will boom "Return to what you were!"

( I hope we also have fuel cells and fusion power by then ...)

the saudis just announced that they have double the reserves previously thought. the former soviet countries have been shown to have undiscovered resources recently. oil may be limited, but it's more than plentiful. shortages are orchestrated through policy and war. peak oil is a fake. automobiles are stupid(but nessessary in los angeles) even run on fuel cells.

i would like to see the dependence on oil stop. all addictions are dangerous, especially when the source is controlled by one or two entities.

we now return you to our regularly scheduled programming....
