Hi there,
i've managed to get the KickMe and Syntethic running in xtc mode. I was just wondering if anywone has some sort of list with compatible devices. Or else it might be an interesting thing to start?
cheers,
wouter

xtc-dll-trick compatible devices
I can get most synths and ModII, even the sts2000 to work in XTC.
Its easier for me to compile a list of the ones Ive tried but aint got to work
these are:-
ZS404
STS3000
STS4000
mostly everything else Ive tried works
I do this by copying and renaming the synth to synthnameXTC.dev and put it into the synth folder in scope
then I copy a VstSynth.dll and rename it to synthnameXTC.dll and put it into my VST folder, in my case, in cubase
restart everything, open cubase and update the VSTs
et violin

how do you do it with effects?? getting non xtc effects to work in xtc mode? i tried your approach and copying a vst fx to my xtc-vst plugins folder and renaming it to fit one of my scope fx, didnt work-- when i openend up the effect in cubase, it has a new name, but its still the old vst effect that pops up, just has another name..
thanks!
thanks!

Hi there, I think i'm misunderstanding your post. I'm trying to get FM4 to work and i've renamed it to fm4XTC.dll....but its not working. Could you maybe explain how to do it?On 2005-10-02 20:10, Me$$iah wrote:

I don't believe that the XTC-trick works with the fm4 since it's pre-SFP v3.1.
Try it out with KickMe which is know to work for a lot of people, and the try out other synths.
Remember to copy the KickMe.dev to the XTCdevice-folder and remember to copy "a synth".dll and rename it to KickMe.dll.
Also the Volksampler works fine here under XTC-mode, no renaming tricks needed.
Good luck

XTC with SpaceF Echo34 or Echo35?
Hi,
I just started playing with this XTC madness, and wondered if anyone has been able to get SpaceF Echo34 or 35 working in XTC. MicroEcho works fine. Echo34 and 35 load up and their GUI reacts to incoming signal, but I don't effected output, just the dry signal.
Thanks,
Brent
