I think I saw something similar posted once before, but I'll add this. I've been spending some time with a Korean dance music composer who's studying here in Australia. Korea is one of the biggest commercial music producers in Asia apparently.
For some reason they call Creamware ... "Pulsar". But anyway, in Korea these cards are considered the best soundcard in the world...... once you get your system stable. (He couldn't understand why I didn't want to run 4000 warezed programs ..... movies, porn, internet gambling and use the thing as a vacuum cleaner).
Of course, there's no point having such beautiful gear if you don't use it. I'm gonna go make some music.

It's a beautiful card and software. I posted this because sometimes, with all the focus on problems and issues and negativity the positives get outweighed.

I am suffering building a new box from scratch. Quite a feat for my green ass. But I was spoiled by having everything stablized for me, and ready to go for live performance. I've been building my own box for a few weeks now, and wow I suddenly have gained more respect for the helpful people here than I had before, which was quite alot.
This platform is the only way to go for replacing aging, bulky, but excellant sounding analog gear. When I complete this box, I will be proud of myself. I went on the road 5 weeks ago with an untested rig, which I only gave instructions on what I wanted. It is stable with GS3, and the sound is awesome. I will have come off this tour with my own rig, which I control and own, and program myself. I tell you gents if you like fat swirly synths with balls, Celmos Blue wave,and ModIII, MIDI'd through an Oberheim XPander, through a large Bi-amped array was one of my biggest goose bump producing moments of my career. It has been worth every bit of learning that I'm going through.

Wow...... I feel a schmuck.... I'm preaching to the converted. I'd better get my soapbox down to the local brothels and bars.
But for Creamware's benefit, the Koreans seem to consider the card very demanding with issues with Gigasampler and others. I don't know enough to determine whether these are real or due to language difficulties. It does sound like a large source of sales, though..... the pop/dance market is apparently HUGE there.
