Good morning. I'm new here.
I have a very difficoult problem, please solve it!
Settings: Alesis BRC master, scope slave via adat 9 pin sync (to play vdat too is good to clock), 02r yamaha slave to wordclock of Brc (so BRC send two clock: one to scope and one to 02r...all ok), tascam cdrw2000 slave to 02r... all ok. But
A16 (not ultra) slave to wordclock of scope.
All ok untill A16 who send to out only if scope is the master! In this good situation A16 do not send out audio, but clock in front seems to be good! But no out. If I set scope as master, send audio, but I cannot sync Alesis brc with vdat, cubase and 02r!!
What can I do? Thanks in advance.

Excuse me.
So, How you config this wordclock system?
Scope with sync plate (wordclock in-out and adat 9pin sync in-out)
Yamaha 02r with clock in-out, and midi time code in.
Alesis Brc with wordclock in-out, adat sync out, time code out.
tascam cdrw2000 with wordclock in
focusrite mastervoice pro with wordclock in
Creamware A16, with wordclock in-out (and adat)
Tascam da-38 with wordclock in
Maybe with another Creamware A16 but ultra, wordclock in-out at 44.1khz.
Behringer deq2496 with wordclock in.
Thank you very much!!

Try to set everything else than the BRC as slave.

If I set brc slave, brc and vdat are not in sync anymore.
If I set brc as master, A16 doesn't send audio out.

When you set BRC as master - do you also set Scope as master, so it can send to A16? I don't think that is the right way to do it.
Another idea would be to set A16 as master and let BRC be it's word clock slave.

hi 27dsp,
I agree with immanuel, try a different clock as your master. May not solve your problem, but may make the things that do work, sound better.
best,
john

HI! Thanks, but maybe I'm nor clear.
I set only scope as master, so I can listen a16.
But if I set scope master and Brc slave, this cannot drive Vdat! If I set Brc as master and scope slave, I cannot listen a16...

Then try to set A16 as master, and connect the word clock out from that directly to the BRC, so the BRC slaves to A16 - not through scope. Scope is set to slave to either A16 or BRC. I don't know, if this works, but it is worth a try.

Immanuel, you are big:
so, a16 as master, brc slave of a16, scope slave of brc (9pin), 02r slave of scope, cdrw2000 slave to 02r, voicemasterpro slave of brc (bnc)...
All is ok now!!
To connect others device with only wclock in?

In the last line I wrote that ok, I have config this base wordclock system, now, with all other outboards that have only wordclock in (I wrote in the second post message)?
What do you think about wordclock splitter (1 to two) to send wordclock to this hardware?
Thanks!

generally, you want a wordclock distribution amp with enough outs that each device has a dedicated clock source. you want to avoid sharing a clock signal as that can make the signal less reliable.
