Also this is my first track using Cubase SX3.
I hope it entertains you.
The switch from the old Cubase to SX was a difficult one , so many things changed or located on another place but once it was done I fell in love.
The Moog sounds very nice and strong to me but the interface could be a bit bigger.
The solution with the cables are impressive and clever, they just move away when you came into the near of them to connect another cable.
Well Reaktor, you can spent a life to learn everything but I am getting there more and more. The drums in this track use the Life sequencer and were change with a randomize button, only.
It is worth all the study, I think the SX engine sounds better than the older one and the work runs in a cleaner and more structured way, now.
Enjoy it!

I would be curious to hear this at double speed with a busier drum. Would the result be an interesting Drum & Bass-type tune, you think?

I truly loved this one Chris, the more I hear your work, the more I like it and again, I have to say that your particular way is becoming more and more a definite style of composing
I enjoyed most from 3:30 and on, keep learning this couple of beasts, and welcome to the world of pure VST power

I am glad that you like this track.
A track like drum and bass and such a high tempo isn´t my nature, at least not yet, Paul.
Yes Nestor, with every day SX becomes a very powerful tool to me. When you speak about composition on this track, you will be pleased with my next track, I work on it for several weeks now.
It has something to do with `Dull Knife´ the chieftain of the cheyennes. Again something completely different
Thanks Li, a spectrum analyzer is one of my most important tools, good to seek out a noise that is to quite or to loud, that need a boost or a cancel. It´s good to see what you hear. It´s good to use two of them, one at first in your mastering chain and one to the end, to see the difference.

Great sounds from you as always
I'm also with Paul on this - would love to hear it at a faster tempo - remix anyone?.

Ok, I ran the tune through CoolEdit and only edited it down to double-speed. The sequence in the background has a lot more drive but the sound effect tracks need to be taken down something like 10 Db.
Really Chris, try it out. Just double the speed on your sequencer and rebalance the mix bringing out the drum to the forefront. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the result.

Ok you´ve persuaded me Paul.
I will give it a try but I´ll blame you for the successions

Maybe I get charm in this kind of music then.
Thank you for the experiment.
