Hi guys
Please help.
How to force miniscope to receive controllers (velocity, etc.) from Sonar?
All perfectly works with STS2000, but when I use a synthesizer all notes play with identical loudness

it's not velocity sensitive...like the old original I guess. (btw, velocity, not really a 'controller', is note-bound, controllers, #cc, aren't).
Controllers however work as normal
Always interesting to check: http://www.borg.com/~jglatt/tech/midispec.htm

from miniscope manual:
MIDI control including – of course –
note play, plus velocity sensitivty, pitch
bend and mod wheel response, and the
ability to assign MIDI controllers to all
controls on the front panel.

looks like they got that wrong in the manual.

ok,what to do? midi track 2 audio, the audio to cut on notes and the loudness to expose for everyone ? Or there are other variants ?

yes, making slices is one possibility.
Or make a line of some repeatable length (like 8 or 16 bars) with detailed controller settings for Volume (cc7).

But I wouldn't do that at all, too much 'fighting', and it doesn't really give you what velocity can.
Accept the Miniscope as it is and work with the possibilities it has of it's own, or choose another one with velocity.
cheers.

One could route miniscope through VCA in a modular device if some velo control would be needed.
