hi all,
i'm looking for a simple device.
A 64 channels inputs and 64 channels outputs device, with no other functions than bypass the input signal to the output with the same number.
Thank You in advance to all developers

Mmm, what you are describing there isn't routing - it is hardwired, and I have a hard time understanding the need for it. Maybe I just do not understand you.

Ye he's just looking for a mixer with I/O.

A mixer? Where do you get that from?

input from where to output to where?
just wire it up in the routing window and save the project. done in 2 minutes.
or is it a 64 i/o mixer that you want?

it's just a bypass device, not a mixer.
I need it, for some operation such as, using the same configuration (asio and some other device) always connected in the same way to the bypass module and then connect the outputs of the module to the mixer in different ways.
But the most important, is that, sometimes, opening a saved project containig an asio module with more than 32 channels, requires to reopen the asio devices (otherwise just the channel 1/2 are working) and reconnect it to the mixer and i don't use the same mixer connections for all projects, but with a bypass device, i can reload the asio module and then using the n key it's fast .
So, thanx in advance

Do you want a matrix?
Are the outs related to the same in channels?
Can't see why you don't just attach to mixer and mute what you don't want seeing that you are using a mixer anyway?

i know that it seems to be a strange request, but this is my example:
As me and many other users, the asio devices from asio2 to flt64 etc. sometimes, when opening a project already saved with asio 2 devices, does not work correctly, because just the channels 1 and 2 of asio devices works and the operation needed is to delete the asio device and reopen it and reconnect to the mixer (this operation is not always fast, because i don't use to connect asio outputs in numerical order)...
With a bypass device, i could keep the connection to the mixer as is and reconnect the asio outputs to the bypass device in the simple order 12345678... using the n key.

thank you lima,
i know these switches, but i'm searching for a similar device, but with the same number of inputs and outputs, such as a patch bay.

j9k's empty32 is a 32io MIDI controllable patchbay. You probably don't need the MIDI, but the device has 32 io nicely layed out vertically, it doesn't take much space or dsp.

I understand what you want.
It's just so you can delete the module but keep all it's carefully selected connections on the mixerpart. (btw isn't reselecting the asio driver an option when this "1/2 only" problem occurs?)
