Hello,

I tried to test the capacity of the PCI bus on my computer. How can I test this as precise as possible? I managed to link 16 Masterverbs from an ASIO source to an ASIO dest without problems. At 17 I got the PCI capacity limit reached message followed by a can't communicate with board1. I am running a 3 board configuration. Board0 is a 15 dsp card and board1 & board2 are 6 dsp cards. Board0 is located just after the AGP bus. The AGP is slot 1, the 4 PCI slots are numbered 2 to 5. The last PCI slot is occupied by the sync plate, which is not connected to the PCI bus by itself. As far as I know this is the best way to install the PCI cards in a PowerMac G4.

Well I'm up from 7 when using a 6 dsp card only. So that's more than 100% improvement.
