Hey y'all,
i've got a little prolblem (again).
I use cubase vst 32 5.0 as sequencer and my instruments are scope devices and samples that are loaded in the sts sampler. When i switch over to scope all audio stops and will start playing again when switch back to cubase. What can i do to fix this (i've already tried ' play in background' but no luck..)?

Well it doenst, see when i try to switch over to scope, cubase still plays on but there's no audio, when i load up a synth in scope i can't play notes, when i switch over to cubase i can... This really sucks (or as we would say in Holland 'het is klote') because it not only takes some timeto find the right preset, mixing is also terrible considering the fact that i don't have audio in scope....

I'm not a maccer, but I would say reinstall all from scratch, there must be something wrong with the OS, because I know many people that are perfectly ok with your setup...

Well the os is just working fine, and besides this little problem, cubase is working fine also, in my opinion it must be something else (i could but wrong....) I've recently started working with cubase vst again so it must be an option that i forgot to check, at first i thought it was the play in background option but it clearly wasn't....

trash the prefs of Cubase and the Sound Controll Panel (regelpaneel Geluid).
Restart, check again play-in-background.
Take one single audio track and one ASIO channel, see what happens.
Again, it should work, there is no 'play-in-background issue known to me

somewhere in OMS you need to mark an option which reads something like 'run midi in background'. i'm almost cert this will do the trick.
