Hi, does anyone know the status of OS X drivers for scope 4.0. It is really taking ages and it's a real shame because pulsar is indeed a wonderfull sound card but with lacking support i might even consider selling my soundcard...

yes but but can you recommend a good sequencer for os 9, because cubase sl3 only works in os x (bummer).

unfortunetely there's no other choice than waiting for Creamware to find new resources for OSX devellopment.
If you ask me, it will depend on sales of the new CWA hardware synths which even aren't released.
Many many months at least.
Patience is what you need

Logic 6 works in OS9 I think... although Logic 7 does not.

I've already tried to install SX 2, but it doenst's seem to work, and spending €1000 on a sequencer with i'll only use for a couple of months..... You know what i'll keep on hoping that the next time i wake up, creamware has made os x drivers.

Yes Logic 6 (Express or Full) come with both version, OS 9 AND OSX. For me it is the Only solution to use CW hardware on a mac. The projets done under OS9 can be opened and saved on OSX.

Don't hold your breath for OSX support. Current Scope cards arn't G5 compatable anyway. For Apple +CWA, 2 machines is the way to go.

Yeah well it's a real shame that creamware doens't support os x, i've recently mailed Jo from cw and he is still not able to give me a proper answer conserning the drivers. As I said it's a real shame because i bought this card 2 years ago, and i was real pleased with it. It's even sadder that there isn't a replacement for pulsar..... grrr!!!!

well, it would be a shame if they refused to devellop OSX support.
That's not the case.
CWA doesn't have the mony for it at the moment, and personnally I'm glad they are still alive again

Jens Ohlig is a HE from support department Germany. He is not involved in development so really he can't give you a truthfull answer for something he is not involved in.

As noted on this forum in many posts OSX development is no longer handles by what is left of the Creamware team.

So the sales/support dudes know as much as everyone else hereabout the future of OSX

I guess you like the rest of the MAC Clan have to wait and see what CWA bosses announce on their site when the time for release arrives
