I read abour it one month ago . It seems to be a modular built mixing unit which is quite an interesting idea. However, I still don`t see any info about the price - which would be probably not fit my budget.

For my homedjing thing the bcf 2000 would be probably sufficient enough at the moment.

looks similiar to my own idea about how to build customizable lego-like user interfaces for SFP devices...
While still reasoning about if it's more appropriate to use a matrix approach on (physical) controller connections or a networked one on modules, someone else built it

I guess one would need to take a picture of each preset and store it into a "preset album"...

Seriously, who would have time to reconfigure the system compared to just pressing a button and loading a preset?

I think the layout is just to make it looking as you need, always better than a fixed positions one....would be nice to have a couple of them...

they should make an emulation, so that you can load own presets of every setting.

Imagine a Solaris with this thing, just imply the knops that are appropriate to tweak live and you have something

I bet you even will get handy in changing the modules to another 'synth', and it's fun I think!
You could take a digital photograph of every setup and put it somewhere in your Scope/Docs folder, to check it when you wanne explore another synth.

It depends on your way of working, if you -like me- concentrate on one song or project at the time, it's doable.
Every personal trick you devellop will lead to something special that others don't have.

Imagine, you start a long studio day, and you say to yourself, common, I'm gonne buid me a Solaris today, for that lead track I have to do...where's that picture again?

And I didn't even catch a fire

If you want to make controllers that best match your own devices, all you need is on http://www.midibox.org . Nothing can top that IMO, but for this new kit you don't need soldering gear Curious for it's price...
