I am one of those who have given proiroty to buying Creamware gear instead of spending much money on upgrading my computer. My Compaq Presario w/ 1.4 ghz Tualatin has caused no major pain.

I recently reinstalled WIN 2K and installed all servicepacks and updates available, which resulted in loosing my USB controller and as a result communication with NOAH EX.

My mainboard is VIA Apollo Pro w/ Breese's PCI latency patches installed - very stable system! Unfortunately my USB controller is also VIA - and according to Micro$oft; no longer supported. VIA has released a USB Filter Driver which does not help.

Has anyone out there come across a similar problem and foud a solution? I prefer not to buy a PCI USB controller as I plan to add another Pulsar II card.

Regards

Neb
