Is it possible for such a device to be created.
Say if you set a frequency,e.g. 100Hz.Then everything above i.e. 200,300,400Hz etc would only get compressed.
Wonder how it would treat sound.
Maybe silly but interesting

A multiband compressor can compress certain frequency bands differently.

But how exactly do you mean, harmonic? Harmonics of 100 don't get compressed, but how about the rest in between, like 150/250/350? If that's what you're after, I'm afraid that FFT technology, used for such stuff, is not available for our cards.
If that's the reason you're asking for it, it's not available IMO cos it would eat your DSP like candy.

Was after individual frequency compression not bands.
Thanks atom
