Yes, great! You see... it's always something simple. Please, keep me informed about your progress with Cubase. BTW, which version are you using? I'm still with the good 3.7, because it is very stable.

Subject: And next is....

Thanks Nestor. As soon as I got it working I said to my girlfriend "I've got to logon and thank the people at the forum!"

The help here is really quite wonderful, sort of like doing volunteer work in the local (world) community.

Anyway, I'm using 3.7 as well. I've been sampling wavs like crazy the past few days so I've got a good bank of material to work with. Next step is to start some intensive sequencing and VST mixdown. It's a bit disappointing that Pulsar is so DSP hungry. It's almost like you've got to start dumping tracks to wav before you've even got a groove going.

And what are you up to Nestor? (BTW, what city are you in?)

Cheers,
Spirit

Subject: Hi Spirit

Hello Spirit. You sound kinda new man now that things are going better! Yes, so have I to say "thanks" to have of this forum, because many people helped me here too. This really is a fantastic forum! Cheers Planet Z!!!

I live in Scotland for the moment, and you?

I'm recording my second album, which is all about Jazz-Rock-Fusion. I've discovered pretty amazing sounds with Pulsar to play my Guitar base. Lot's of slapping as well; what do you play yourself and what kind of music do you do?

A see you later.

Subject: Style

Yeah, it's amazing what a couple of small victories can do, now I'm full speed ahead for the next bag of problems.

I live in Sydney. I visited Scotland in '95 and especially liked Inverness. Scotland was also memorable in that it was one of the few places in Europe that I visited that had blue water (everywhere else was green!). Funny thing to remember I suppose...still, lots of other good memories too. Scotland also reminds me a lot of Tasmania: rough and lonely with a genuine wild edge that might bite you... (Compared with Australia, England was just a big park)

My style is mainly heavy Cyberpunk, sort of Front 242 with a headache or Gary Numan meets Throbbing Gristle. Which is odd since I mainly like heavy classical music: Liszt, Bruckner, Elgar etc and hate techno...

Cheers,
Spirit
